I'm buying a new MBP soon (when the new ones are released).
The 17" model.

Now I need some peripherals, gadgets and whatnot.

1) For a mouse, I had this in mind: Kensington SlimBlade Trackball Mouse

2) I'd like to protect my machine as much as possible, but I don't want an ugly hardcase around it. Can anyone recommend me a good product? (maybe a transparant skin or a good sleeve?)

3) What useful things can I get for the Expresscard slot?

4) I need a good backpack, because I will be taking the MBP to school everyday.

5) If you got anything else in mind that I would possibly like to have, don't hesitate to post it in here.

Thanks in advance!

I think you should probably use the search function at the top of the page. This stuff has been gone through in detail even multiple times in the last month. You will find lots of useful information and pictures on sleeves and backpacks, etc... I think you'll find everything you need.

I would recommend the VX Revolution.
