Dropped Calls? Trying to make a real poll this time

I'm hoping the upcoming software update fixes this issue. Apple replaced mine when they ran a diagnostic at the Apple store and found 22% of calls dropped. The new phone doesn't seem much better, but I think I'll just wait it out this time
Call Failed
Does anyone else get "Call Failed" when trying to start a phone call? I'll get this 3-4 or even 5 times when attempting to make a phone call sometimes before getting a connection...

I had this problem once walking up from downtown in Seattle. I was talking to one of my friends and got the "call failed" message three times in the space of about 10 min. My phone also became generally unresponsive and I had to do a hard restart on it. Besides that one night (about a month ago) I haven't had any problems.
I see your point. In my defense, the poll question does clearly say:
How bad are the dropped calls with iPhone 3G?
It doesn't ask about anything but dropped calls.
