i have this 8 gig iphone 1st gen that wont turn on. screen looks fine. the screen is completely blank.. the screen doesnt want to turn on at all. i think the phone charges.. also when i connect it to my computer itunes recognizes my phone but doesnt want to do nothing. is it my battery that needs to replace or something else? my friend gave me this phone and i wanted to know if its repairable. he said he took it to apple and they said that it needs a new battery. also my friend told me if i left the phone to charge all night it would turn on but it hasnt turn on.
