how to use apps?

well i jailbroke my itouch after i went through a little hell
i have a bunch of stuff but i dont know how to use the apps once i install them
how to i get them on my home screen and use the apps?

after you install them they will automatically be on your homescreen

What i suggest u do is install an application launcher like launcher.app or cover flow ,if u hav any apps installed on u Ipod this app should pick it up and allow u to use them.

appflow, is really really cool. (I think that's what it's called anywayz)

But yeah, 90% of the time your apps will show up on your springboard.
