Camera app or photo roll return back to home screen without proceeding.
I suspect the Camera app's data was corrupted and it causes the app to either crash or just exit. Furthermore, I went ahead and did a backup, so it might mean that the backed up data that I've made would be bad as well.

This happened right after I've used Image Capture on the Mac to remove all the photos from the iPhone by downloading and then deleting. Might also have been due to the fact that both Image Capture and iPhoto had the iPhone mounted at the same time and both were writing conflicting information to it.

Is there are a way to reset just the Camera app's data to default, without doing anything to the rest? Other than the fact that I haven't and am afraid to try a hard reset and restore, I think my backed up data maybe no good as well.
