Can't tap on the upper half of iphone

Could you just give me some advice here, cos I'm totally lost.

The upper half of my iphone is like dead?
I can't even choose an app, or off my phone.

I can't even tap anything that's like, at the top two rows of the homescreen.

this is whats known as a dead strip
there is nothing you can do about it

take it to apple
they will replace it in an instant
they are trying to cover the issue up by replacing with no questions asked
