If my battery got less than acceptable performace, (less than 2 hrs) on a charge, would apple send a battery to me, or would I have to send in my bad one, then get another. And could I call up Apple and say it was getting less than two hours, but forget to mention that I was running classic mode, vpc, itunes effects, seti and folding all at the same time?;)

Would I have to prove that the batt got bad performance, like send it in?

I'd like to weasle my way into getting a free battery, if possible.:D

Jerks like you are what makes getting replacement batteries so difficult

People who abuse the system make me sad :(

Apple is going to test your battery, and the warrenty for it is only 6 months. And i agree, jerks like you cost me when i need service or buy a new product. Don't abuse the system. Hopefully apple busts you.

I was wondering if that would qualify as a defective battery, and what conditions they would test it under. I'm not going to abuse the Apple system, though. jeez!

I'm just saying, if the battery only lasted x hours under the most tolling conditions, would they replace it, or would they say, with nothing running it lasted so many hours so it's okay.

I put a smiley face next to the weasleing thing--there's no way I would do that to apple, to a pc company, but not apple.
