I just picked one of these up, they have them on sale for $39.95. Griffin Technology PowerMate (http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/powermate/index.html)
I have a 14" iBook G4, and this is a very nice edition to a laptop. It makes scrolling some much easier in applications like Safari, Word, and Excel. I use all three of these on a daily basis. Scrolling is very smooth and you can set the pace of the scroll in the preferences.
I do not have it setup for every application I use, but I will be doing that very soon. I understand its a great feature to use in iTunes and iMovie.
