View Full Version : Make keypad default after call answered?

Is there any way to have the keypad be the default screen when a call is answered instead of the menu (w/ speaker, keypad, 3-way, etc.)
I have my condo buzzer linked to my phone and have to push 9 to let people in. I'd like to be able to skip the step of tapping to bring up the keypad from the menu (also would come in handy when calling credit card companies or airlines).
I asked about this on the Tips board, but one guy jumped down my throat so I thought I'd try here.
Thanks!

You'll get the same answers here as you did there.
I understand what you want, but really, it isn't that hard to tap a screen then tap it again.

You don't understand. Those milliseconds add up after a while! Lol

While I understand that, people have come up with hacks for every imaginable little detail (like which T-Mobile logo to show or changing the words on the unlock slider) so I figured it was at least worth asking.

From what I can understand :-
jailbreaking & installing apps allows you to customize (display options)
and extend features (ssh, free netshare etc)
but you won't be able to modify exisitng functions/features , hence it seems a bit unlikely to happen
Who knows though someone actually might
Seriously an extra tap , doesn't matter to most
