I openned a thread few days ago, and I couldnt find it for 2-3 days, and then I accidently entered wasteland section, and there it was, my thread, that included a question I was curious about...

I wanna learn why arn sends any thread to wasteland, which doesnt have any illegal substance...

http://upload.edesignuk.net/uploaded_data/smilies/spam.gif is one reason, the thread going off topic, arguments/abuse and so on.

Why didn't you just PM arn if it means so much to you, there's not really a need for a thread.

I didn't move it to wasteland... but I can see why it was.

The thread was "Please Post a short reply if you want iPhoto to be free downloadable" (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=54324)

I think you can safely assume that everyone would like iPhoto to be a free download rather than a pay option if given a choice.

It's akin to posting "please leave a reply if you want a free dollar".... it's just not very productive.

thread was about the latest version of iPhoto, and I asked people to write a short reply if they wanted iPhoto to stay free... is it illegal?

It doesn't have to be "illegal" to be sent to the waste land, this is not a court http://upload.edesignuk.net/uploaded_data/smilies/tard.gif. Arn and the mods rule these here lands, what they say/decide goes  :p

You got a free copy of iPhoto with your computer, there was no contract with the software for FREE updates for life.

Apple is searching for cash like everyone else, and the cost of iLife isn't too bad for what you get.

Even if there was Apple has the right to modify the EULA at any time.

I've had many a post closed, moved, (thanks Rower;)) and in 2 cases Arn chose to make an exapmle of me by posting my post a a new thread and then closing it. Hell I don't care.

Just get over it.

first I dont know how to "pm" somebody.. I even dont know what pm is...

I was trying to show a response, that was all.. nothing personal, nothing important.. I want it to be free, because in my opinion it should be free, not because we would want everything to be free.. and I thought that, it was a common opinion.. I guess its not.

whatsoever.. thanks for the replies.

now, this is a thread to be send to wasteland I guess! :)
