Did I get a free iPhone?

I ordered the iPhone. They authorized my debit card. A couple days later the money came back. People here told me they will charge me again when I pick it up. But yesterday, I picked it up and still they didnt charge me anything. Does anyone know what is going on or if they are going to charge me randomly in the future?
