okay, so i tried jailbreaking my 1.1.5 touch, and didnt put it in DFU mode first.
so then the black screen with the white words took over and now all it says is:

BSD root: md0, major2, minor 0

over and over and over again.

i've tried turning it off and on, unplugging and then replugging it into my computer, and still nothing.

:( please help.:confused::confused::confused::confused:

itunes has to be started. then attach your ipod to the usb-port

then. press the standby and the homebutton - and the screeen becomes black.
wait until the apple appears.
then ... release the standby-button and LET THE HOMEBUTTON pressed.
soon itunes will recognize an ipod in service-mode and youve done it ;)
hope that ***** works ;)

How do you get into DFU mode?

The exact way the poster above you stated, but close iTunes when it comes up with the iPod in recovery mode, and go into Activity monitor or Task Manager and end the task iTunes Helper as well. Then use whatever you were doing to jailbreak-hopefully not ZiPhone
