Can i Download apps to computer?

Hey guys ,i was wonderin is there any websites where i can download cydia or installer apps to my computer 1st then transfer? The reason behind this is that i live in south africa ,great place but not enuf wifi hotspots leave alone free wifi hotspots :( so i cnt really update my Ipod everyday with da exception of the app store ,so if any1 could provide me with links containing app downloads i would b very gratefull.do u think there wil eva b a website version of cydia or installer? It would b really cool

Not sure you can download them to your computer but you could possibly share your internet connection with your computer and download directly to your iPod touch. Its very easy if you have a laptop with WiFi, or a desktop with WiFi card. If you don't have any WiFi devices in your house then you may be out of luck.
