Question with itunes and winpwn

I had a 2g iphone which i unlocked with winpwn and sold to a friend. I updated to a 3g but now everytime I plug my phone into itunes it asks me to register and connect to itunes store and tells me cannot logon. I updated to the latest itunes last night and still nothing. Is it something with winpwn? I removed winpwn from the computer, do I need to un-install then re-install itunes?
