A good multi purpose economical printer

My current printer has packed up. I only use it at home for printing out essays etc. I want a scanner and photocopier function too and will occasionally print in colour. Want something which is reliable and doesn't cost a fortune for new ink cartridges. Any recommendations

I just got the Canon PIXMA MX700 from Newegg for $99 shipped

good multi purpose printer that does it all for a good price, I would recommend.

only drawback I can see is the size, its on the big side
