iPhone PC suite problem.Plz help!!!

Hey ,im havin a problem with my iPhone pc suite ,im runnin 2.0.1_5B108 it asks 2 install the daemon and i follow the steps bt it fails everytime ,im allowed 2 browse Ipod add files delete files etc.. The only thin i cnt do is set file permissions and thats the only reason i downloaded iPhone pc suite ,plz help guys

Follow all the steps once , than click ctrl+alt+del second time and end task iphone pc suite, it is all done

I'm having a slightly different problem.

I've restored from backup and everything seems to have worked apart from the music. PC Suite sees all the music, but there's nothing on the phone :(

Can anyone tell me how to correct this? I've read on a few forums that this is a common problem.
