They buy iPods and repaint them. It's not rocket science.

Why not? More iPod sales is a GOOD thing for Apple.
I think they look quite cool - especially the Red/Blue ColorMeleon near the bottom.
I don't see why this is a bad thing at all, I think this is cool and will benefit Apple if nothing else.

Apple isn't really losing sales or anything. These guys still have to buy them. I don't think this'll kill the iPod or something...

they must use some special paint, not to interfere with the touchpad and touchbuttons.
it's a little annoying that they would paint iPods, but they did a good job overall, and if people want to buy them... they're doing something right...

Those pods still look better then the HP-Pod! Ugly blue! :(
Anyhow, don't they open them and give them a new coloured case? Paint would eventually come of.

Nope, they are masked and painted. They said its automotive paint and wont come off. The screensavers did a special on this company and mac painting. They'll even do your ibook and powerbook for $400.

What do they paint it with so the jog wheel still works? Isn't the jog wheel a conductive device like a trackpad?

I mean how can they do that legally because that might draw sales away from the regular ipods and apple would rather have their product go direcly to the consumer. (and yes folks, I'm quite the fanatic:p)

???
What's wrong with the product going directly to the consumer?
Also the price of these ipods make it seem as if this company is paying full retail price for the ipods.
