my CPU usually runs at a temperature between 50-55 degrees C however tonight i noticed right after game play the temp was at 68 degrees C. umm am i ok?

*edit* usually runs at arond 55 degrees C, not 50-55

thats normal, gaming is a procesor taxing thing so you should expect an increase. that being said if you are uncomfortable with that you can find cooling solutions if you want to be extra safe.

i have an iBook, what kinda cooling solutions is available? is there any? Kinda freacking out cause that temp is a lot higher than any that ive read about in the forums. i remember someone saying 55 degrees C was on the high side.

you can get cooling stands for your laptop -- some will just elevate the computer, increasing airflow; some have built-in fans. i know macmice (http://www.macmice.com) has a selection, but i've never bought anything from them so i can't really advise you on their service/quality.

i'm sure there are other places with similar products as well.

get used toilet roll cardboard, cut it into 4 parts, so it makes 4 small cylenders...its cheap but it raises ur ibook!!! hehe
