Push GMail?

Only thing holding me back from pulling the trigger on buying an iPhone is the lack of true push gmail. Is this guaranteed to come to the iPhone at a certain time? (Not interested in Exchange forwarding workarounds... sorry 😛)

I doubt it since Google is putting out their own phone in some form or another.
You can forward gmail to mobile me and get it pushed that way, but again, if you're unwilling to do a work-around then it might not be your cup-o-tea (green tea to be exact).
 
i actually have a question on this but like isnt ymail push?
if so can i just forward gmail through so like it pushes to me???
