how do I back up my ipod before pwnage again ?

so I just finished reloading everything back up to it, all the apps, settings, ssh things into it etc for like the 3rd time in what seems to be a week, how does one go about backing everything up so when upgrade to new 2.0.2 you don't have to do it all over again.

Very good ??? Mine wiped back to factory yesterday trying 2.0 upgrade that failed...totally pissed me off....I need a good backup tool, too.
