first keystroke drop out

this drives me crazy...

after not using the keyboard for a few minutes when i start to type the first letter does not appear.

i thought i had read something about this here but now can't find the info again (i did a search).

is there a fix for this or is it a 'feature' of some sort?

There was an update that came out a while back that was suppose to fix this. It didn't on mine. I have to re-type many times because of that first stroke not taking.
I hope another update will fix this. I just tolerate it now.🙁

I get the same thing every once in a while. It bothers me, but normally I just forget about it and move on.

Tried System Preferences -> Mouse & Keyboard -> Trackpad -> Ignore accidental trackpad input?

I thought I was going mad when it first happened 😛...now I know it isn't just me.

Pain in the //// isn't it. hope they get around to fixing it.

Is it just the macbooks that this affects? I'm on a 2.2GHz.
