is this a good 3g speed ?

That looks pretty good to me. I usually get 1.2-1.3 Mbps at home but top out at around 0.9-1.0 Mbps when I'm out.

[EDIT] I am in the Seattle, WA, area.
 
Might be a good idea to post your locations (city, state, country) 😉

I first ordered my iPhone yesterday but will post my findings when I receive it.

I believe the theoretical maximum speed of W-CDMA (or at least HSDPA, which I believe AT&T uses) is 7.2 Mbps.
 
My speeds seem to vary depending on what test i use. testmyiphone.com consistently gives me 1.25 Mbps and iphonespeedtest.com yields .50 Mbps.

Do people from Columbus have to constantly talk about the Buckeyes because there is nothing else to do there but watch college football and watch the grass grow? Seems to make sense to me 😉

Why is it that I only get like 400k even on any wifi??? What speed test are you all using? I get like 200k 3G, 185K edge and like 400k wifi... help?

Yeah that's not bad.
Way better than what some others have been reporting around here lol.
I usually get that or maybe a little faster here in FL.
