View Full Version : Just swapped iPhone 3g -- blacks are flat and ugly

I just swapped my 3g because my first one had light-leak and bad reception. This one seems to have better reception, but the screen is much uglier.

Blacks almost look grayish. It seems the contrast is set too high. Can this be changed in future firmware updates, so that we manually can change contrast? I loved my old screen, and I feel kind of bummed about my new worse screen, even though this one doesn't have the light leak.

Thanks.

This is a good example of why I won't exchange my iPhone for aesthetic reasons.

I don't think "bad reception" can be classed as aesthetic.

It isn't, but light leak is.
