It is a really good price and the reviews are great...

So do you think I should get it?

What kind of computer are you buying it for? If this is for the most recent iMac series, it looks good.

I am also looking to buy 4gb of memory for my 24" 3.06GHz iMac. Is OCZ a good brand? Or are there better options?

That's a good price. If you want to buy from a more well-known site, you could always try Crucial memory http://www.crucial.com/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=28331B54A5CA7304 which offers a similar price, with the added bonus of a reputed name.

Crucial charges $89.99 while the OCZ from newegg.com is only $58.99 [after a $25.00 Mail-In Rebate].
Is the Crucial memory better quality than the OCZ brand?

Crucial has some dirty money making techniques, or so I've heard. The prices on their website depend on how much they think you'll pay, based on your browser's cookie history.

Newegg is a good place to buy, and they generally have the best prices too.

But still nowhere near as cheap as Newegg [even if I get their rebate for trading in my current Apple 1GB x 2 memory]

Have you read their reviews on the right side? They don't look so good, especially the first one that says he didn't get his promised rebate, even though he purchased within the rebate's timeframe. Just something to consider when you purchase your RAM.

ok. i didn't realise that the newegg memory was under $60. The link said $83.99, so that was the price I thought about when I said it's a similar price. If there is such a large price difference, it might be worth it, but I've never bought from there, so unfortunately I can't give any advice on that front.
