iPhone 3G on a family plan

hi all. i am currently an add on on an ATT family plan, meaning that my phone costs $9.99 a month to operate, plus $20 for unlimited texting for all the phones on the plan. i am up for an upgrade in october and i really want an iPhone 3G. does any one know what would be the cost to upgrade in October and also the cost per month to run the phone?

It'll be an extra $30 a month for the iPhone 3G package. Thats on top of your minutes and texting plans. And the phone will cost you $199 for the 8GB, $299 for the 16GB.
