First of all I put this into this section because we are talking about the almost universally liberal, or ultra-liberal law school experience. And secondly, it's hard to talk about law school and subjects in law without bringing up Obama and McCain.
Well, I am second trimester in my first year, and I have joined a very large group focusing largely on a socratic method discussion group. The other main type of group are small writing groups dedicated to the written letter of the law vs. vocal advocacy.
In the first trimester, I was not in a group and my grades were mediocre. Many say a law school study group is great. What do you think, for you lawyers, law students, paralegal students out there? And if a group is good, what kind of groups work?
