My ipod hiccups/glitches when i click on my apps

probably been said here before...the title pretty much says it all..

when i click on an app on the touch desktop...a downloaded app (not one that came standard with the itouch)...it will attempt to open the program then just head right back to the desktop. I feel mine needs to either be wiped clean and redownloaded or something. Ever happen to you? Best way to fix it?

try restarting your ipod touch, then delete the offending apps, reconnect to itunes, and let itunes resync them...and by the way, dont call it an itouch :)
