Archos 5G an iPod touch competitor?

I was watching CNET's Loaded yesterday and Natali Del Conte mentioned something about this device. It supposedly has a 30GB HD, 5" screen, Wi-Fi, and a 3.5G chip to receive the internet anywhere there's cell coverage. I think this is amazing. Not to mention that this has a touch screen. If this comes out soon, I'm getting one and it might replace my iPod touch. What do you all think of it?

To bad it isn't free data (somehow) or I would ditch the iPod touch.

if you like it then get it ... easy as that but if you think someone will pimp the Archos you are in the wrong forum ... MACrumors make a sense for you ? :)

I would suggest that you wait and see what Apple has up their sleeve for the next iPod update before you get too excited. :)
