Please Help!! Mp4 files wont play On Iphone 3G !!!!

i have a few mp4 movies which played fine on my fds ipod.

But i cant get it play on my iphone 3G, syned it to iphone

when i try to play it on iphone it shows "The video format is not supported".

2.0.1 Fimeware, video format is 480*272 h.264. Latest itunes 7.7 version.


PLEASE help !!!!!! 🙁🙁🙁🙁
 
If it worked on ipod it SHOULD work in iPhone too. Still in case it doesnt then try this- just right click on the video file in itunes and select "Convert selection for ipod/iphone"

Hope it works.
 
this is so weird, my fd can play it just fine on ipod the same mp4 files.

but when i play it on iphone it say format not supported
 
I am having the same issue. My MP4s are able to work with my husband's iPod, but the same videos aren't able to sync to my iPhone. This is weird.
