"Better" is extremely subjective. Buy what you want, not what random people on a forum tell you to get.

Since you are in the iPod Touch forum, I suggest the Touch because of the size of the screen makes it much better for video content.

Depends on what you want out of an iPod. If it's music, get a Classic or Nano. If you want music, videos, games, internet, e-mail, etc, get an IPT. For me, I only use my iPod when I go to the gym, so I sold my iPod touch and bought a nano. It's almost perfect for me! :)
