iPod Touch Slow Sync

My touch 32 GB seems really SLOW to Sync-anyone else having this issue? It takes probably 3 times longer to Sync a full 30 GB than my Gen 5.0 iPod Video.

I am wondering if this is an issue on all of them or if mine has problems.

It's normal. Not sure, but I think it's because it's a SSD and not a hard drive. Also, backing up slows it down big time. You should disable it if you don't need it.

Yeah I don't do the back-ups, but I JAM it full of music for work-and it takes FOREVER-Fortunately I don't have to do it often-but with the new 2.01 (pwned) firmware, it wiped out all my songs, and it took like 4(!) hours to put them back on.

4 hours? That doesn't sound right. 1 hour at the longest, I would say.

I reevaluated the time-and it was 2 hours and about 20 minutes-So not 4, but much longer than 1.

I thought that SSD was supposed to be faster than HD because of no moving parts-but in this case it seems really slow.

Once the songs are on though-it seems to work fine-no other noticed problems.
