I bought a used Jailbroken iPod touch. It works part of the time, but freezes a lot, so I have to reset it.
I want to do a factory restore and see if that fixes it, but the problem is that when I plug in the USB cable, it freezes, and Windows doesn't even see it. I can unplug it and it will be unfrozen, but plug it back in and it is frozen again.
I can't do a factory restore because I can't get to the point of actually syncing it with the computer.
Sometimes I can get far enough with Safari to actually browse somewhere on the web. Is there anywhere I can do an update online or something?
Anyone have any ideas? (Yes I have reset it a bunch of times by holding down both buttons.)
