Wow what a deal!

I just went with my little sister yesterday to the apple store to get her a new imac and she walked out the door with a 20" 2.66 with a free ipod touch and a free printer and it was all only $1496 at the register, after her student discount. We live in Rhode Island so no mail in rebates for advertisements as "free" they have to give it an instant. I could not believe how cheap all that stuff was.

From Rhode Island it's too bad you didn't come up through Mass. to right across the border in New Hampshire (Apple store in Salem, NH)! :D

I just looked it up and it would have only been $1399 with her student discount since we have NO sales tax! She would have had to pay for her iPod upfront, but the rebates come back in less than 10 days on this promo (as my son found out!)

Hope she enjoys it a lot!
