Has anyone gotten a WPA2 connection to work on a Jailbroken iPhone? Specifically I'm on 2.0.1 now and it's not working for me. I'm at University of Illinois campus and trying to connect the WPA2 network and I know other non-jailbroken iPhones do connect just fine and I can connect with my laptop. So far the issue has been narrowed down to the fact that I am running a jailbroken phone. However, as far as I know it shouldn't have broken any authentication either.
VPN doesn't work as well when connecting through an non WPA network with jailbroken phones as well.
Strange... any fixes or workarounds known?

Is this a 3G or original? I unlocked / jailbroke my Wife's original iPhone before selling it on eBay and it connected fine through WPA2. That was 2.0 though so don't know if 2.0.1 is any different

It's a 3G. Yea, I'm not sure if it's to do with 2.0.1 either. The fact that they are 3G or 2G shouldn't change anything (but then again, neither should any of these other factors). The person I saw connected was a 2.0 vanilla 3G phone. So I'm not sure. Any other cases of 2.0.1 connecting? Jailbroken or not?

If you used pwnagetool 2.0.3 out last night to jailbreak it has a bug that does NOT save passwords for anything.
It may be that it is not saving the wireless password so it won't connect.
If you used pwnagetool 2.0.3 then update it to 2.0.3.1 and make a new custom firmware and restore as it has been fixed.

Yea, I'm still on firmware 2.0.1 updated from Pwnage 2.0.2 So if this bug is only in 2.0.3 then that shouldn't be it.

I'm assuming just a WPA2 network right? Not specifically UofI right? Another question I have for you is how you Pwned it? You pwn with Pwnage 2.0.2 or with Winpwn?
