Hey;
One of my employees (using a MBP - 10.5.4) is unable to double click on any item in the OS... Well she can.. but it doesn't do anything. Doubclicking a file in the finder won't open it... doublclicking a day in iCal wont create a new event... I just screen shared on iChat and I couldn't accomplish any of the above either.
I'm confused... any help?

Have you tried on both the touchpad and an external mouse?

Yes... the trackpad and a bluetooth mighty mouse are experiencing the same issue...
Software?

Sounds like it. Try verifying and repairing disk permissions.

restart? sounds like the gpu failed. this happened to my dad's ibook g4 and the graphics chip not securely soldered onto the logic board. most likely a logic board problem with the gpu.
