I noticed some companies offer an interface that plugs in the back of the factory stereo. This play music from the iPhone, charges and you can also pick up incoming calls. Can anyone recommend what company they bought this product from and how your experience has been?

I have the USA Spec and it's awesome. Clean sound, easy controls. I installed it myself using online tutorials on the web. They're also coming out with a new cord that charges the 3g phones. Should be out in a couple of weeks through their website.

Hi, I have a VW Jetta 2008 with the SAT radio.
I am looking to hook-up my iPhone 3gs to my radio, and I don't mind replacing the SAT function with my iPhone.
And I would like to retain the flexibility of using my iPhone interface, using the radio interface is not a must (except for the volume or mute functions).
I have been reading a lot, and not convinced there is a good solution out there, and also very concerned I might install something that can damage my car.
For example the icarkit http://www.golfmkv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=66940
If you read trough out this thread, at the end they returned the product.
Is the issue with the product or the installation?
As for the mount and holder, I found those which seems to make sense:

Polyun, are you still satisfied with the USA Spec?
Msmith2112, are you still satisfied with the Peripheral?
Anyone out there tried Dice Electronics?
Any suggestions, how-to, diy, to pull out the radio and properly route the cables?
