Big X Beatup Bandwagon

Maybe its just my local flavor of news, or the sites I go to, or maybe its just the new thing news/media want to beat to death with a stick, but all I see is wee need to stop Big X. (X being what ever the company or product of the day is). Isn't the whole idea in America's economy is to start your business, build it up, and be successful. And then once you are big you have everybody yell at you for being a big clumsy giant, and try to take you down.

I mean maybe I'm not making some connection but this just seems odd. What do you all think?

ps -im no expert on the economy, nor am I even that great with my own money. just wanted to put that out there.
