I have one of those scratches underneath the glass on my iPhone so i am going to get an exchange but every time i exchange my iPhone something new is always wrong but i was thinking maybe Apple ironed all those problems out after a month of it building them so do iPhones built later on have better quality and less chance of a problem or not really?

I have two iPhones, 16GB white. One bought on launch day, the other 30 days later. Both are absolutely perfect with no defects.

Honestly I am not entirely sure but I just received a perfect white 16GB iPhone today with no light leak or anything.

Where do I check which week it were assembled?

Posting this with the iPhone :)

if anything, quality might slip, as Apple ramps up their production to 40 million phones...aka Operation OIPP.

For the first generation iPhone, the manufacturing week is the fourth and fifth digit in the serial number.
