Hmm, never had any trouble with my trusty Asus A7N8X board or the Asus board before that one either.

Oh yes, you can. I'm awaiting the return of a board I have now had to RMA twice. The lesson from the first RMA was "Never tell them what you think is wrong with it. They will just fix that and mail it back without ever testing it to see if that actually solved the problem."
