Hey all!

I have a few WDS networking issues, I am no network expert, so I was hoping you guys could give me a few tips!

I have three Airport Express base stations in the house. One in the office connected to the internet vie ethernet, on in the bedroom connected to speakers and one in the kitchen, also connected to speakers. I have my macbook pro which is on the network.

The main base station is the Office one, the other two are relays. My Macbook Pro connects fine to my bedroom airport express, but if I try to connect to the office (main base station) it times out when connecting. It also doesn't like moving from one base station to another and often has to loose connectivity completely on one base station before it will join another one. All the base stations are on channel 6. There is a WPA password on the network, along with two printers.

Any tips on how to fix these problems, or does anyone know if they are inherent to the WDS protocol. Are there any other ways of expanding a network which are more efficient?

Cheers!

Danny

your other option if you're not too spread out is to just have the 2 remotes join the main network, and not extend it.
