Is anyone else having the problem of installing 3rd party apps from Cydia, and having them crash their iphone? When I install anything but themes my iPhone freezes and when I reboot it just sits on the Apple logo boot screen.

can't say that i have had this problem, i've installed the NES emulator program, as well as Qik, and they work perfectly 🙂.
although cydia seems to hang there for a while before going back to the home screen.

how long does it hang there? thats what it does on mine, so I guess how long does it hang on yours?

well it usually only does this when i have downloaded something new to the phone (not eveyrtime) but when it does happen it's usually 10-30 seconds before coming too.
same thing happens when applying a theme via winterboard or changing the options in there.

EDIT: After much research I've learned the problem isn't actually with Cydia. It's an iPhone firmware issue. Not surprised at all.
