Refurbished Apple Cinema

Can anyone tell me how good will it be buying a refurbished (directly from Apple) Cinema 20" (Refurbished Apple Cinema Display (20-inch flat panel w/ aluminum enclosure) for $499? Original price $1299....

will it be a good display? seems to be a bargain, huh?

Refurbished products are typically very good, my brother just got a refurbished MBP for $1299 and you can't tell the difference from brand new.

The displays have been due for an update though for a long time according to the buyer's guide and you could probably get one cheaper from another brand if that is an option.

not many people can tell the difference between a refurb and a brand new product. i got a refurb ipod touch and if i got it as a present i would have thought it was brand new

Also you get full apple warranty, which is great.
