Arizona - Old/Dead/Misc electronics recycling event

MacMedia Inc., an Arizona Apple Reseller, is holding an event September 6th to raise awareness about e-waste.

Bring in any old/broken/working electronics that are taking up space in your house and ScrapComputer.com will properly dispose of/recycle them. Anything goes...TV's, computers, printers, cell phones, cables etc. For every pound collected, MacMedia will donate $0.10 to the Phoenix Childrens Hospital.

Collection centers will be setup at both the Peoria and Scottsdale retail locations.

Wow, that was a great idea.

I'm hoping the lack of interest here is a sign that not many people here come from Arizona, rather than plain old apathy.
