4G WiMAX might actually see the light of day... or air.

according to an article on mobile tech today (dot) com, Sprint's WiMAX service, XOHM, might be released onto the unsuspecting patrons of Baltimore Maryland as soon as next month. This stepping stone for 4G wireless technology brings computers more into the wireless game. internet access around urban areas makes way for more integration between stores and the public through all forms of advertising.(in my opinion).

this could also pave the way for other networks broadcasting their own wireless broadband signals, which could also lead to a possible iPhone 4G?
or integrated wimax in notebooks?
