Bajarin of Creative Strategies agrees. "The next big battle is for the hearts and minds of consumers in the living room," he said. "Apple is going to have to find a way to extend the Mac into the living room and connect it to the TV. More important, could Apple create a video store that is equally as easy to access and handle as the iTunes store?"
Interesting article about Apple Computer Corp and the opportunities that are before them including the delivery of movies on demand from your Mac to your TV. In my opinion Apple could get a jump on the web delivery competition by offering downloadable HDTV content directly from their VOD store to your G5 (my weapon of choice), and then to your TV :p Browse by any number of criteria to find the movie, or event that you want to watch - now. Is there enough bandwidth to support this much content? Will Apple even go this route?
I'm sure it'll be interesting!
