Is it possible to run screen spanning from a 24" iMac to a 26" LCD HDTV using HDMI?

You'll need a mini-DVI to DVI adapter and a DVI-HDMI adapter or cable, but yes.

Yes it will work, do you know how i know, cause im doing exactly that

yer you will need mini dvi to dvi then dvi to hdmi

work perfect

i know about the adapter i was just not sure u could use a different size monitor

well my tv is 26 inch and works fine and my friend is using 42 and his work fine, so you should be in the fine side
