I had to take it off. I could not call or end a call when it was installed. Took it off and everything worked fine.

I had the same problem with not being to able to calls or end calls. Thanks so much. Uninstalled Kate and *bingo* - all good.

I am on PwnageTool 2.0.3.1 / Firmware 2.0.2 5C1

So thats why my iphone's app kept closing.. and when i was in a call i could never get it back to the phone screen... dumb ole me I restored to original and rejailbroke.. thinking i messed something up... smh...

Kate is pretty useless. 5 dock icon is probably the only thing attractive for Kate, and now that is being offered on Cydia.
