To All,
I've come across an interesting problem. When using a removable device (specifically a Iomega Peerless drive) and using a backup program to backup a folder set to that device, the permissions on the data is being reset when the device is plugged in at home. Likewise, after bringing the device back to work, the same thing happens. The owner is set to system, and system only has permissions to the files. The permissions can then be reset (which has it's on problems, see my other post), but each time the files are moved to the other computer, the perrmissions are being reset again. Any ideas?
