So, new firewire specs are coming out soon (3200 or something like that...) do you think they will put them into the MBP and give the MacBooks an update to FW800 or even grace them with FW3200 as well? :eek:

Or will FW3200 be being released later on this year with no chance of it in the supposed september refresh?

I guess what I really want to know isn't if it will happen, but if it is a possibility?

FW3200 has just been approved (within the last month), so I expect Apple won't be offering it on the MBP because I expect the chips aren't available.

So it will probably first appear on the Mac Pro refresh and then the next MBP refresh.
