Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3G (16GB, 2.0.2 JB'd): Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5C1 Safari/525.20)
Save any image as a 480x320 JPEG/PNG, and sync it through iPhoto. Takes just a few seconds.

Save any image as a 480x320 pixel JPEG/PNG using the image editing software of your choice, and then sync it with your iPod through iTunes (optionally iPhoto, for more advanced organization) ... It takes just a few seconds.
You can use WinterBoard to set a wallpaper for your home screen, like in my screenshot below. Search Google or the forums fir more detailed instructions on how to use WinterBoard.

iPhoto, I believe, is a Mac program.
You should always mention if you are using Windows when asking questions on this forum, otherwise I find that people assume you have a Mac.

Sound advice. This is, after all MacRumors ... ;)
